Every torque value published on this site is traceable to one of the documents below. Each value in the Spec Library and in the Kit Finder links to its source record here. We do not publish a value we cannot cite. Where a publisher makes the document freely available, the link goes straight to them; where it is sold, dealer-restricted, or supplied to us directly, that is stated instead of a link.

A citation names the document, then the location inside it — a table number, section number, or page. “Kenworth Y53-1200-1N1 (01/2026) §25.8, p.328” means section 25.8 on printed page 328 of that manual revision. Revisions matter: the same manufacturer can publish different values, or the same value with a different preparation instruction, between revisions of the same document. Where we found that, both are published side by side with their own citations rather than reconciled into one number.
Where a published document contains an internal error — a unit conversion that does not compute, or two sections of one manual disagreeing — the Spec Library notes it explicitly and states which figure the arithmetic supports. We do not silently correct a manufacturer's document.
